A Basic Review

Mathematics

Mathematics Review
Originally developed to provide the necessary understanding of applied math skills in basic electronics classes, this program has progressed to a stand-alone (self-taught) review of mathematical principles.

The initial review starts with the earliest number symbol, a tic mark, and moves to number lines, descriptions of positive and negative numbers, how to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Once you have become comfortable with these actions on a number line, you move to the symbols which representing those actions. Examples and worksheets are used to help assess your progress.

Moving to the abstract concepts and equations of algebra, you are guided through more worksheets to store these concepts in your mathematics toolbox.

Trigonometry can be a complex mathematics process but by guiding you to apply what you have reviewed to solve problems in this area a comfort level can be achieved.

Learning to express very large or small numbers, called scientific notation, can be interesting and fun.

Yes, there is a test, but don't worry. It's a self-assessment test to help guage your understanding of basic mathematics and their applications.
